Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
There are no shampoo, no cuts, no color. Need to perform blowouts in 30 mins.
Duties
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired styles.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and services, utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory.
- Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of retail sales practices and basic retail math for effective product promotion.
- Ability to mentor others and share expertise within the team is highly valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
