We are now looking for a HVAC/R Service Technician to provide HVAC/R support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are looking for someone to be passionate about supporting our Service Department to enable the business to achieve success. You’ll partner with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts to service a full range of high-tech HVAC/R equipment. You will need excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and the agility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment.
What you'll be doing:
This position will be an integral aspect to our Service Department. In this position you will work with the senior leaders and management team to diagnose, identify, repair/install, maintain, and upgrade refrigeration units. You will think strategically as well as roll up your sleeves and dive deep into practical HVAC/R applications.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Skilled at every aspect of diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of HVAC/R systems.
- Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are effectively communicated to the customer.
- Flexible to work days, nights, overtime, and occasional weekends to service emergency needs of our customers.
- Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Participate and contribute in team meetings.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
What we need to see:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Strong aptitude to quickly retain new information.
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC/R experience.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience.
- Well groomed and neat appearance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High level of integrity, ethics, reliability, and stellar attendance.
- Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to interpret manuals and schematics.
- Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and set priorities.
