Position Summary
I am in search of a passionate Hair Stylist to join my team. The ideal candidate has a background in various hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling. Experience with eyebrow waxing and/or threading is a plus. This role will require excellent service skills and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Pay will be commission based, where you earn 60%.
Hours
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are mandatory working days.
Monday-Friday: 10am-6pm
Saturday: 8am-4pm
Sunday: 10am-4pm
Duties
- Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients.
- Perform additional beauty services such as eyebrow waxing and threading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
- Manage client records, process transactions, and keep track of sales.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for hair care products and services.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and beauty techniques to provide clients with innovative options.
- Promote retail sales of hair care products and other salon merchandise to enhance client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification is required.
- Knowledge of various hair techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficient or fluent in Spanish.
