Job Title: Residential Electrician Foreman

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Residential Electrician to lead and execute a wide range of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance projects in residential and construction environments. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Title 24 compliance, lighting controls, and be capable of troubleshooting complex electrical systems with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical systems including:
- Recessed lighting, timers, motors, pool lights and pumps, spas.
- Electrical service upgrades (single and three-phase systems).
- New construction and remodeling projects (including complete rewiring).
- Interior and exterior lighting, phone, and cable systems.
- Perform installation and tie-off of wires in compliance with NEC standards.
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Install, start up, and shut down equipment safely, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate performance, maintenance, and daily activity records.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and subcontractors.
- Set up projects, lead day-to-day operations, and order necessary materials.
- Conduct material take-offs and ensure timely procurement.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in residential electrical work..
- Proven leadership in managing residential electrical projects.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, Title 24 compliance, and lighting control systems.
- Skilled in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic meters.
- Ability to review and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
- Experience operating or knowledge of heavy equipment is a plus.
- High attention to safety standards and OSHA compliance.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must own a complete set of electrician hand tools.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, overhead areas, and varying site conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
