Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team at AMPAM Parks Mechanical. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of HVAC systems in residential new construction projects across Southern California.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate HVAC installations effectively.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices.
- Service, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems in multifamily, residential, and commercial properties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, ensuring top quality solutions
- Work closely with property, managers to provide exceptional service
- Install new systems and perform preventative maintenance
- order your own materials, equipment and follow up with your orders
- Responsible for stocking your van
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Valid HVAC certification or relevant licenses as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Field service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- -Experienced in multifamily HVAC heat pump and hydronic systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge
- EPA HVAC certification and valid California driver license
- Team player with focus on customer satisfaction
- Able to work unsupervised
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
