Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers and handle cash with care.
- Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise effectively.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including displays and product arrangements.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and pricing adjustments.
- Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when handling customer calls.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math concepts is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
