Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering and styling techniques, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to connect with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services for clients, including barbering techniques.
- Provide hair coloring services while applying knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results.
- Offer additional services such as hair extensions, threading, and nail care as requested by clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
- Engage with clients to provide personalized consultations and recommend products or services that meet their needs.
- Upsell retail products effectively to enhance client experience and boost sales.
- Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business through excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist with a valid cosmetology or barbering license.
- Strong knowledge of hair cutting techniques, color theory, and styling trends.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in upselling products and services is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail sales practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform hair threading and nail care services is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
