Job Summary: We’re seeking a Color and Technical Assistant who is passionate about curly hair, holistic beauty, and delivering exceptional customer care. In this role, you will support our stylists in delivering a range of services, including organic and plant-based color applications, healthy perms, non-toxic keratin treatments, and holistic scalp and hair treatments. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in keeping our salon running smoothly by preparing stations for stylists and managing salon upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with color services, including preparation, application, and maintenance of organic and plant-based hair colors
- Support stylists in performing technical services like healthy perms, non-toxic keratin treatments, and holistic scalp and hair treatments
- Set up and prepare workstations for stylists, ensuring all tools and products are organized and readily available
- Take charge of salon upkeep, ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting environment throughout the salon
- Deliver outstanding customer care, making clients feel comfortable and confident in our salon
- Collaborate with the team to ensure an exceptional client experience, assisting with hair care advice, product recommendations, and aftercare
- Attend ongoing training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry trends in organic and holistic haircare
Requirements:
- Passionate about curly hair, holistic beauty, and plant-based haircare
- Background or interest in organic color and treatments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
