Legal Secretary

Job Description:
Responsibilities
· Preparing pleadings, correspondence, forms, and other legal documents
· Must know how to generate TOA's and TOC's
· File/e-file and serve court documents and related correspondence, memorandum, pleadings, and related documents. E-file and paper file documents with local, state, federal courts
· Serve discovery and subpoenas
· Maintain calendars and keep attorneys aware of scheduled events and approaching deadlines
· Handle the incoming and outgoing mail for the supported attorneys
· Schedule hearings, meetings, depositions, conference calls, assist with travel arrangements when necessary
· Enter time and handle billing for assigned timekeepers
· Assist fellow co-workers and/or other timekeepers as needed and requested
· On-site position
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Self-starter Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
