Bumbé Beauty is LA’s first beauty studio exclusively devoted to the booty. We do facials for your behind, but not the basic kind. Think pro-grade skincare, backed by science, wrapped in cheeky energy.
How we do it
We offer best-of-class treatments at our DTLA Arts District Studio, targeting the most common ailments experienced on the booty - breakouts, dry skin, cellulite, stretch marks, poor circulation, skin elasticity and more.
Why we do it
We believe this area is highly overlooked and a taboo topic that needn’t be. Everyone deserves a glowing booty, and we want to be the leaders in giving every booty that walks into our studio, the pampering they deserve.

Junior Esthetician (Freelance to Full-Time) Location: Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles Freelance (3-month trial) → Full-Time Opportunity
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate, grounded, and glow-loving Junior Esthetician to join our growing booty squad. You’ll be trained in our signature Bumbé protocols, gain real experience with high-performance treatments, and work alongside seasoned estheticians who love what they do (and don’t gatekeep). This is the perfect role for someone early in their esthetics career who’s hungry to learn, grow, and make their mark in a bold new corner of the beauty industry.
This role begins freelance for 3 months so we can see how the energy flows. If it’s a match, we’ll invite you into a full-time role where your skills — and your booty care expertise — can thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Treat booties of all sizes, shades, and stories with kindness, care, and a little bit of sparkle
- Perform Bumbé’s signature booty facials like a pro-in-training — we’ll teach you everything you need to know
- Learn how to tackle all the usual suspects: booty breakouts, ingrowns, bumps, dryness, and more
- Make every client feel like they’ve just entered their main character era: confident and cared for
- Give solid aftercare advice and product recs
- Keep treatment rooms pristine, cozy and professional at all times - our studio is your temple
- Support your senior teammates and soak up all the juicy knowledge they’re sharing
- Bring good energy, and a willingness to do the weird little things that make a studio run
- Be an ambassador of Bumbé culture: warm, expert, cheeky, and inclusive
- Contributing to a growing brand with a whole lot of heart (and butt jokes)
Must Haves
- A current California esthetician license
- 0–3 years of experience (new grads welcome if you’ve got the right spark)
- Passion for skincare and a willingness to learn
- Great people skills and a warm, professional demeanor
- Reliable, responsible, and excited to work in a boutique, startup-style studio
- Comfortable talking about butts (yep, it’s our thing)
- Confidence in working with all skin tones, textures, and body types
- Professional, punctual, and able to self-manage in a boutique studio environment
- Comfortable working in a startup setting — flexible, fast-moving, and ever-evolving
Bonus Points For
- Previous experience with body treatments including booty waxing and anal bleaching
- A curiosity for body positivity and inclusive skincare
- Love for butt jokes (seriously, it helps)

Pay & Progression
This role starts as a freelance position — a 3-month glow-up period where we get to know each other and see if we’re a perfect match. During this time, you’ll earn $23–$26/hr, based on experience and vibes.
If things go well (and we have a feeling they will), you’ll move into a full-time role with consistent hours, added perks, and more opportunities to build your skillset.
