Licensed Esthetician (Full-Time or Part-Time)

XēBA BOTáNICA is seeking passionate, experienced, and reliable licensed estheticians to join our growing team of skincare professionals. We’re looking for at least 6 full-time and 6 part-time estheticians to offer high-quality, customized facial treatments in our newly opened Echo Park treatment rooms.

We are a non-toxic skincare brand rooted in botanical ingredients, sustainability, and results-driven treatments. Our retail and treatment space in Echo Park offers holistic facials and custom skincare experiences using our in-house line of handmade products. Estheticians work closely with our brand and philosophy while bringing their own expertise and care to every client experience.
Position Overview
As a XēBA BOTáNICA Esthetician, you’ll deliver personalized treatments in alignment with our brand’s techniques and values. Estheticians are independent contractors (1099), but are not renting rooms—they are working as part of our team and are expected to follow all company protocols, use XēBA products, and represent the brand at all times.
Responsibilities
- Client Consultations: Conduct thorough skin assessments to determine client goals and concerns.
- Customized Treatments: Provide a wide range of non-medical facial treatments, including:
- Classic botanical facials
- Chemical peels (non-medical grade)
- Nano needling
- Microdermabrasion
- Lymphatic massage
- The Dew Ritual (our brand’s version of a HydraFacial)
- Skin Analysis: Identify skin types and conditions and recommend appropriate services and product regimens.
- Retail & Product Education: Recommend home care regimens and promote XēBA products, earning 5% commission on all retail sales.
- Client Relations: Build loyal client relationships and maintain a strong personal profile for bookings through our Square appointment system.
- Cleanliness & Room Turnover: Fully clean and reset your treatment room after each appointment to meet our hygiene standards and prepare the space for the next esthetician.
- Protocol Compliance: Follow all brand procedures, techniques, and approved treatment protocols.
- Scheduling: Set your own schedule in Square, but you must be consistent, reliable, and punctual. Clients book by appointment only through our system.
Requirements
- Valid California Esthetician License
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on spa or salon experience
- Proficiency in a wide range of facial techniques and treatment tools
- Strong skincare knowledge and confidence in customizing treatments
- Excellent communication and professionalism with clients and team
- Comfortable with tech platforms—Square experience is a plus
- Commitment to using our space, products, and procedures (no room rentals or outside product use)
- Ability to work independently while representing the XēBA BOTáNICA brand
- 6-month probationary period to ensure alignment and team fit
Compensation & Benefits
- Commission-based pay only:
- 30% commission on services performed
- 100% of tips earned
- 5% commission on retail product sales

Pay: $22.50 - $93.00 per hour
