Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems and appliances. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and timely repairs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with HVAC systems, appliances, and other equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
- Drive a company van to transport tools and equipment to various job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to appliance repair and HVAC systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC systems, or field service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and maintenance practices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience as a van driver is a plus, ensuring safe transportation of tools and materials.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
