Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure machining accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain tight tolerances and meet production standards.
- Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize machining processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to set up and run 3-axis CNC mills and lathes.
- Preferred: Experience operating Hurco machines.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, feeds/speeds, and machining best practices.
- Attention to Detail: High standards for precision, quality, and safety.
- Teamwork: Effective communicator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
