Electricians (Apprentices & Journeymen) - Commercial Construction

Job Summary
As part of our electrical team, you’ll contribute to commercial construction projects, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs under the guidance of experienced foremen. Apprentices will gain hands-on training, while journeymen will apply their expertise to ensure high-quality electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with or perform electrical installations for commercial projects, including retail, office, and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards.
- Use electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with team members, including foremen, project managers, and general contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings.
- For Apprentices: Learn and develop skills under the mentorship of journeymen and foremen.
- For Journeymen: Lead by example, mentor apprentices, and ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- Apprentices:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools.
- Eagerness to learn and strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Journeymen:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial electrical work.
- Thorough knowledge of NEC, local codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- For Journeymen: Prior leadership or mentoring experience.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
