Job Summary
Here at Republik Coffee we are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the food and drink menu in order to help guests
- learn and retain extensive knowledge about our Coffee provide from us
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Assist with upselling products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively communicate with customers.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and maintain a clean work environment.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support during shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries via phone.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Skills in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail operations is advantageous.

Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour
