Summary
As a Caregiver at Ararat Home of Los Angeles Inc, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Located in Mission Hills and Eagle Rock, this position involves providing compassionate care and support to seniors, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents' health conditions.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding resident needs and changes in condition.
- Support memory care programs by engaging residents in cognitive activities.
Requirements
- Experience in senior care or related field is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Knowledge of resident rights and medication administration protocols is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff effectively.
