Job Overview
Inovus Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Foreman to lead electrical installations on ground-up multifamily projects, including Type I high-rise, Type III podium, and Type V wood-frame developments. The ideal candidate has proven leadership in multifamily construction, a deep understanding of electrical systems and codes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, code-compliant work safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead teams of electricians through all project phases: underground, rough-in, top-out, and trim
- Ensure full compliance with NEC, Title 24, and jobsite safety regulations (OSHA)
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, risers, and technical schematics
- Utilize construction management software such as Procore, ACC, MS Project etc. for scheduling and documentation
- Maintain quality control standards and conduct regular site inspections
- Coordinate effectively with general contractors, project managers, and other trades
- Manage project timelines, materials, manpower, and workflow pipelines
- Mentor junior electricians and promote a culture of continuous skill development
Qualifications
- 7+ years of electrical experience, with 3+ years as a foreman on multifamily construction (Type I–V)
- Expert knowledge of NEC, Title 24, and LA city/county electrical codes
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical documentation
- OSHA 30 Certification (required)
- Journeyman certification (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools (Primavera) and plan management (Bluebeam)
