We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber, Braider, or Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various hair cutting techniques and styling, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As an Associate , you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience of our clientele while showcasing your expertise in hair care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services tailored to individual client needs.
- Perform hair extensions and styling services with precision and care.
- Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
- Offer additional services such as nail care, eyelash extensions, and makeup application as needed.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance clients' hair care routines.
- Utilize straight razor techniques for shaving and detailing as requested by clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client preferences and service history.
- Mentor junior barbers or apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid barbering license or certification from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in hair cutting, styling, and grooming services.
- Familiarity with hair extensions application techniques is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices within the beauty industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
- Ability to perform retail math for product sales effectively.
- Experience in mentoring or training other barbers is a plus.
- A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning within the industry.
