Position SummaryWe are looking for a CNC Punch Press Operator to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in transforming raw sheet metal into highly precise components that support essential infrastructure and engineering projects. Key Responsibilities- Machine Setup: Prepare and configure CNC punch press machines according to blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
- Production Operation: Operate punch presses to fabricate parts from sheet metal with high accuracy, maintaining consistency and production efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure adherence to dimensional and quality standards.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic maintenance on equipment and resolve minor mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor operations and adjust machine settings for optimal performance, accuracy, and safety.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet production targets and identify process improvements.
- Workplace Safety: Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
What We're Looking For- Attention to Detail: Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints with precision.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Solid understanding of punch press machinery and metal fabrication processes.

Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC operations is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years operating punch press machines or working in sheet metal fabrication; CNC machine experience strongly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed in a manufacturing environment.
