Overview
Rassac Air Systems is currently seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various HVAC and Refrigeration systems. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Fast Moving, Strong Work Ethic, Positive Attitude, Team Players
- 4-5 years or more experience with commercial troubleshooting and repairs
- EPA cert (Universal preferred)
- Well-rounded with Package units, split systems, heat pumps
- Proficient working on VFDs
- Good understanding of DDC systems is a plus
- Good Understanding of Chillers is a plus
- Able to troubleshoot and understand if issue is with HVAC system or controls
- Troubleshoot and repair Hydronic system issues (Chilled water and Heating hot water) is a plus
- Able to perform complicated mechanical repairs
- Little or no supervision required
- Must be able to communicate clearly through email and phone and tablet usage
- Experienced operating equipment (Forklift, scissors lift, boom lift, extended forklift, vehicle)
- Able to use HVAC related equipment and tools (Vacuum pump, recovery machine, leak detector, acetylene torch)
- Able to perform HVAC task according to industry standards

Pay: $22.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 80 per week
