Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds and finished products.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize power tools and equipment effectively for cutting, shaping, and fabricating metal components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the necessary welding processes and materials required.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds using tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Fabricate ductwork and other metal structures as per project requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
- Design and fabricate jigs for production welding
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
- Familiarity with power tools, including grinders, saws, and drills.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Experience in fabricating metal components, particularly ductwork.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers accurately.
- Capable of operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
