The SKM Ironworker is a skilled construction worker who plays an essential role in building large structures. Using various tools, ironworkers are responsible for installing and fixing metal framework, reinforcing bars, and supports necessary to secure steel beams, concrete floorings, and walls.
Job Duties:
· Installing and erecting steel structures.
· Reading blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine project
requirements.
· Use various hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble steel components.
· Securing steel structures to foundations, floors and walls using bolts, welds, or
rivets.
· Flag/Direct cranes.
· Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
· Perform other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must have welding and blueprint reading knowledge.
· Must know and follow proper rigging procedures.
· Must be reliable and punctual.
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Must have OSHA 10 Certification
· Must have TWIC card
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
· Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Other Requirements:
· Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Wilmington, CA.
