We are seeking for HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician with a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial settings, always aiming to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machine systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration units to ensure proper operation.
- Perform field service tasks, including troubleshooting equipment failures on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to build and maintain efficient refrigeration systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various types of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role in HVAC.
- Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Field service experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to work independently on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid certification or license related to HVAC or refrigeration is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Nights as needed
- Night shift
- On call
- Overnight shift
- Overtime
- Rotating weekends
