Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Glendale, CA
Duration: 2 months with possible extension
Work Type: Onsite
Pay Range: $23 - $25/Hr
Hours: M-F 6 am - 2:30 pm with some OT available
About the Role:- As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
- This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
- They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

- This is a good opportunity for someone who is a little "green" skill-wise and wants to learn the trade
Resource's typical working day:- Work with a team and be assigned a building
- Working on the PM rooftop for each building
- This is a support role
Must Have Skills:- Power tool experience
- Hand tool experience
Nice to have skills:- 608/Universal/EPA license
- Trade school
