Mario Castillo Electric Inc is looking for an Electrician Apprentice with 2-3 years of electrical work experience to join its team and is looking to grow in the electrical field. The Electrical Apprentice will learn on the job under the supervision of a journeyman. The apprenticeship will teach you how to assess and repair electrical problems on commercial and residential job sites. To start off your duties will include basic cleaning and maintenance tasks, as you gain experience you will be given more skilled based tasks. To the point where you can work with little or no supervision and move up in the company to become a journeyman.

Requirements
- Must have 2-3 years of electrical work experience
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in drywall, framing, stucco, and/or taping.
- Must speak Spanish
- Needs to have a good attitude and be willing to learn the trade
- Must be able to carry, push and pull up to 50 + Lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work from heights
- Must be able to work on feet for extended period of time
- Must be able to work in crawlspaces and attics
- Must have the following tools: hand tools, cordless drill, hammer drill, and circuit tester
- Must have basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools and how to use them
- Some practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment
- Listens and takes direction from lead journeyman
- Ability to handle criticism appropriately
- Knowledgeable of the material and where to use it
- Be able to use the software we use for time keeping, and communication and payroll systems
- Be able to work safely abiding by safety protocols
- Attention to detail is a must and takes pride in their work
- Regular attendance and dependability
- Stability and longevity in the industry
- Team player, respectful to homeowner and its property and others around you
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
This positions requires:
- A high school graduate or have attained a GED, Electrical tech school preferred
- A pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening
