We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while managing transactions and maintaining a smooth operation at the checkout. Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding stock displays.
- Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory as needed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer experience.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
- Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with supervising staff is a plus but not required.
