Press Operator in Azuza, CaAs a
Press Operator you will:
- Lead the forge crew in operating presses and rolling mills
- Read and interpret forge instructions and translate them into action
- Ensure materials are properly identified and tracked throughout the process
- Load and unload materials into furnaces
- Operate manipulators and other equipment to move materials safely
- Collaborate with other departments to keep production running smoothly
- Maintain a strong understanding of metal behavior and manufacturing processes
- Use calipers and other tools to take accurate measurements
This is a
Full Time 1st shift opportunity
Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm, and possible Saturday
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic math skills (for measurements, tolerances, etc.)
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification or ability to pass an on-site test
- Experience in a manufacturing or forging environment is a plus
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
