Key Responsibilities
Precision Operation: Set up and operate CNC and mechanical press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
Quality Fabrication: Ensure all fabricated components meet required tolerances and quality standards by conducting regular inspections.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and plans to determine material requirements and machine settings.
Machine Setup & Troubleshooting: Adjust machine settings such as pressure, depth, and angles for each job, and resolve any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborative Efficiency: Work closely with production leads, welders, and assemblers to streamline operations and meet project timelines.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Safety First: Follow all company safety guidelines, procedures, and wear required PPE in compliance with OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with press brake setup, operation, and troubleshooting (experience with CNC press brakes is a strong plus).
Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop orders.
Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to precision, quality control, and accuracy in fabrication.
Team Orientation: Strong communication skills and a collaborative work style.
Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work either 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Amada, Trumpf, or Cincinnati press brake machines.
Background in sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
