**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, including persons with developmental challenges, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability. **Responsibilities:** - Manage the daily operations of the thrift store - Work directly with adults with special needs, providing training and support in a retail setting - Ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment - Transport a client home at the end of each shift - Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet financial targets - Recruit, train, and supervise store staff - Maintain inventory levels and order merchandise as needed - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly - Monitor store performance and implement improvements as necessary - Manage store budget and expenses effectively **Experience:** - Proven experience in a managerial role within a retail environment - Experience working with persons with special needs is a plus - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask - Proficiency in cash register operations, payroll management, and budgeting - Excellent math skills for inventory management and financial analysis - Administrative skills to handle paperwork, scheduling, and reporting - Experience in conducting interviews and evaluating staff performance - Ability to promote and sell products effectively - Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
