Bumbé Beauty is LA’s first beauty studio exclusively devoted to the booty. We do facials for your behind, but not the basic kind. Think pro-grade skincare, backed by science, wrapped in cheeky energy.
How we do it
We offer best-of-class treatments at our DTLA Arts District Studio, targeting the most common ailments experienced on the booty - breakouts, dry skin, cellulite, stretch marks, poor circulation, skin elasticity and more.
Why we do it
We believe this area is highly overlooked and a taboo topic that needn’t be. Everyone deserves a glowing booty, and we want to be the leaders in giving every booty that walks into our studio, the pampering they deserve.

Senior Esthetician (Freelance to Full-Time) Location: Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles Freelance (3-month trial) → Full-Time Opportunity
About the RoleWe’re on the lookout for a skilled, confident, and kind-hearted Senior Esthetician to join our booty-obsessed dream team at Bumbé Beauty. Someone who knows their way around a spatula and a serum, isn’t afraid to talk about booty breakouts, and wants to help us make this overlooked body part feel sexy, soft, and seen.
This isn’t your average esthetics gig; we’re rewriting the rules on skincare, one booty at a time. As our Senior Esthetician, you’ll bring expert-level knowledge, creativity, and leadership to our signature booty treatments, while mentoring our growing team and helping shape the future of this beautifully taboo-breaking space.
This role starts freelance for the first 3 months, giving us both time to vibe, collaborate, and see if we’re the perfect match. After that, if the spark is mutual, we’ll make it official with a full-time position.
What You'll Do
- Treating booties of all shapes, shades, and stories with real skill and real love
- Perform Bumbé’s signature skin treatments for the booty with expertise, care, and attention to detail
- Customize protocols for a range of skin concerns: breakouts, ingrowns, keratosis pilaris, dryness, cellulite, pigmentation, poor circulation, stretch marks, and more
- Making clients feel like the main character from the moment they walk in. Confidently educate clients on aftercare, skincare routines, and product recommendations
- Guide and support junior estheticians, setting a high standard for technique, hygiene, and service
- Help refine treatment protocols and contribute to new service development
- Ensure all treatments meet state board requirements and align with our high internal standards
- Assist in product testing, internal training, and treatment menu development
- Keep treatment rooms pristine, cozy and professional at all times - our studio is your temple
- Provide input on day-to-day operations, and collaborate with the team to refine client experience
- Be an ambassador of Bumbé culture: warm, expert, cheeky, and inclusive
- Contributing to a growing brand with a whole lot of heart (and butt jokes)
Must Haves
- A current California esthetician license
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on esthetics experience (the more butts the better, but not a requirement)
- Deep understanding of skin anatomy, active ingredients, and common conditions
- Expertise in extractions, exfoliation techniques, and proper sanitation practices
- Confidence in working with all skin tones, textures, and body types
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Professional, punctual, and able to self-manage in a boutique studio environment
- Passion for mentorship and guiding junior staff
- Comfortable working in a startup setting — flexible, fast-moving, and ever-evolving
Bonus Points For
- Previous experience in body skincare or niche body services (such as anal bleaching and booty waxing)
- Experience developing or refining treatment protocols
- Experience working with LED therapy, microdermabrasion, etc.
- Strong retail skills and ability to upsell without being pushy

Pay & ProgressionThis role starts as a freelance position — a 3-month glow-up period where we get to know each other and see if we’re a perfect match. During this time, you'll earn $32–$35/hr, based on experience and booty expertise.
