Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of various metal fabrication processes. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate press brake machines for bending metal sheets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Program the press brake for specific jobs, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and angles.
- Assemble components as needed using hand tools and other equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
Skills- Proficient in programming press brake machines for various tasks.
- Experience with assembling metal components using hand tools.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with milling machines and tooling setups.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
