Haven and King Law Firm, a growing litigation practice located in Diamond Bar, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team. About the Position
We are looking for a skilled litigator with at least three years of experience in business or commercial litigation. Five or more years of experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with additional proficiency in family law litigation are also encouraged to apply.
We handle a broad range of disputes involving business torts, contract litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and other matters affecting small and mid-sized businesses. The attorney will manage litigation matters from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and client communication.
Qualifications
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/commercial litigation (5+ preferred)
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters
• Excellent organization and time-management
• Additional experience in family law and/or probate a significant plus
Responsibilities
• Handle litigation from pre-filing to trial or resolution
• Conduct discovery and take/defend depositions
• Draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings
• Attend court hearings and case management conferences
• Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel
• Participate in case strategy and business development initiatives
