Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Temporary Litigation Assistant for our client in Los Angeles, CA. This is a unique opportunity to support a high-performing commercial and business litigation team in a hybrid work setting. Ideal for experienced legal professionals, this role plays a critical part in managing litigation matters from preparation to filing.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay: $35–$38/hour
Work Style: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 2 days work from home
Duration: At least 1 month, with potential to extend

What You’ll Do:- Draft, format, and e-file pleadings and legal documents in California state and federal courts
- Prepare Tables of Contents and Authorities for briefs and motions
- Maintain and organize both electronic and physical case files
- Schedule meetings, court appearances, and depositions
- Draft memoranda, correspondence, and legal documents
- Format, finalize, and coordinate discovery documents
- Communicate with internal departments, clients, and external contacts
- Track litigation deadlines and manage case calendars
- Provide administrative and document support to attorneys and paralegals
What We’re Looking For:- 4–6 years of litigation or legal support experience in a law firm
- Strong familiarity with California litigation processes and terminology
- Experience with e-filing systems including PACER and California courts
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, TOC/TOA formatting), Outlook, and legal DMS platforms (e.g., NetDocuments, iManage)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong multitasking ability and poise under pressure
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
