Golf Cart Sales Representative
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our retail sales team. This position is ideal for a sales professional with a background in golf cart or automotive sales who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
In this role, you will manage a mix of company-provided leads and self-generated prospects, guiding customers through every step of the buying journey. You’ll be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, managing online listings, and closing deals both in-person and through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and qualify inbound leads provided by the company, ensuring timely and professional follow-up on all inquiries.
- Proactively generate your own leads through platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, and other community forums.
- Create, manage, and optimize product listings on digital platforms to increase visibility and drive engagement.
- Conduct showroom demonstrations, presenting vehicles and features in a knowledgeable, customer-focused manner.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, including consultation, financing options, paperwork, and post-sale communication.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Maintain showroom organization and vehicle presentation to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
- Track all sales activity through CRM tools, maintaining accurate records and reporting performance metrics regularly.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in golf cart or automotive sales is required.
- Proven ability to generate leads independently and consistently follow up to close sales.
- Comfortable using Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, and similar platforms for lead generation and communication.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and closing skills with a customer-first approach.
- High level of self-motivation, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM software and digital tools to manage contacts and opportunities.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours to meet customer demand.
