BRAND MANAGER
A Los Angeles international beauty manufacturer/distributor is looking for a Brand Manager. Must have minimum of 5 years in Marketing, Consumer Packaged Goods or Account Management with experience in Skincare.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead communication to brand team to progress product development, product introduction and product promotion for brand.
- Self-starter that can develop processes to promote best practices for brand planning.
- Conduct competitive analysis. Understand and apply beauty trends. Analyze current sales report with recommendations for updates and changes within the category.
- Create direction and definition for each product based on in-depth brand understanding. Including creative direction and product messaging.
- Create reports and other materials to communicate updates and changes to product lines.
- Consistently follow up with teams to ensure alignment of goals and timelines on track.
- Support the launch of new products both to the trade and consumers.
- Monitor product activity at national accounts. Maintain an understanding of online e-commerce activity. Ability to analyze activity and provide product insights/ recommendations.
- Ensure consistency and follow the voice of the brand, including the direction of social media members on your team.
- Interact with internal departments to ensure complete deliverables of photography, graphics, sales materials, advertisements, displays and samples.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a 4-year degree and/or 5+ years’ experience in the marketing field (professional or retail). Beauty, skin care, or fashion marketing experience preferred.
- Must be forward thinking, extremely organized and have the capacity to juggle a variety of project-oriented tasks
- Experience in product development
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Canva
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Proven to be reliable, diligent, self-motivated and dedicated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and efficient. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment. Easily adapt to shifts in priorities.
- Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and third parties
- Experience selling/marketing to retailers
- Experience in trade shows, product photography shoots, and qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
