Contract Position- 1099 worker
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver cannabis products to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, customer interactions, and inventory management.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of orders for delivery, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Collaborate with the team to improve delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about our product offerings and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Maintain inventory accurately and help organize when needed
- Help maintain office, supplies and other ad hoc office duties

Pay range: $16.50 to $18.00 per hour
Required skills
- Must be 21 years or older to comply with cannabis regulations.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Basic knowledge of cannabis products and their effects
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work Word and Excel is mandatory!
- Reliable transportation for deliveries, punctual, with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
- Ability to navigate using GPS and manage delivery routes efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desired skills
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with local cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for cannabis and a commitment to educating customers about its benefits.
- Quick learner
Applicants with advanced degrees or experienced in the industry will be prioritized and pay will be considered
Salary
$16.50 - $18.00 USD per hour
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
- Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record (minor violations may be considered)
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Ability to communicate professionally in person to effectively explain all variations of cannabis products to guests, if necessary
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions
- Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
Desired Skills
- Professional knowledge and working experience of cannabis products from a regulated retail or medical distribution center
- Computer skills working within a POS system as well as cash register and payment processing
