As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitized environment for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and styling tailored to individual client preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and offer professional advice on styles and products.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience.
- Mentor junior staff members by sharing knowledge of techniques and best practices in barbering.
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to provide clients with contemporary options.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the cosmetology field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of color theory, hair styling techniques, and retail sales strategies is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
